|These guys (&gal) were just great last night at my 40th bday party! Everyone loved them, they were very personable, felt like having family at our party...and the music was perfect. Thanks for a great night!|

YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME!!! The perk of being the bride & groom is that you get to throw the party, but the down side is that you don't get to talk to everyone nearly enough, least of all the band. We had hordes of relatives & college friends come up to us to tell us how great the music was and how fun you guys were. Zack's little nieces were especially big fans! The professionalism, quailty, humor and just plain fun you guys brought to our reception was way more than we could have asked for. Thank you so much; we hope you had half as much fun! Thank you for your CD too. We're already jamming to "Wagon Wheel". Leah & Zack Hargrove
Thank you for entertaining us tonight at Red Top Mountain State Park. I hope y'all had as much fun as we did!
Best bluegrass band ever!! Jody Hale
I truly enjoyed seeing you at Raccoon Creek Friday and Saturday. Love your music and your sense of humor. You guys are the best. Let me know if you are going to be up at Doug's anytime soon.
Steve Kolar You guys put on a Fantastic show !!! , Big THANKS for coming out, Will definitely be out to see you again really soon and look forward to having you back
Brian Angela Griffin Enjoyed your set tonight (as always). Shredded two strings on the acoustic guitar on the first song...wow. Love how you guys incorporate some classic rock into "progressive bluegrass".
You guys did a great job Saturday. I wanted to let everyone in the band know (and I'm sure you've heard this before), but music has a way of touching people's lives. The band had an impact on a young man who was there ... a young college student we 'adopted' a year ago. Just wanted you all to know that, in addition to an awesome performance, you guys were a blessing to someone who needed it. :
We recently got to hear you guys at the church at Northside in Rome, Ga. We really enjoyed hearing the band and you guys sounded great. Not only do you hear great music, but you guys have so much personality as well and interacts with the crowd. My daughter-in-love, Whitney, had her niece there along with her parents and her niece, MacKenzie "Mac", can not stop talking about your band and Brad and his hat! haha. We are looking forward to hearing you again soon and thanks for loving what you do...it shows in your performance. See you soon!
"You can't hide money" was the best line delivered during the second annual Cartersville Bluegrass and Folk Festival. Old Mill Road Band members are four exceedingly interesting and talented individuals. Go see for yourself.
Thank you for the exceptional banter and music.
Recently, The Old Mill Road Band was featured on the Moby in the Morning Show on Veterans Day to play 2 of their original songs. Check it out at:
On behalf of the Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank you and the members of Old Mill Road Band for playing at our first ever Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival, held on October 19 in downtown Cartersville.
The event was a great success with an estimated 1500 attendees. The weather gave us a slight scare in the late morning/early afternoon, but it ended up being a great day, and there have been nothing but positive comments from attendees regarding the various musical performances and kids’ area activities.
I hope that you enjoyed performing as much as we enjoyed having you! Cartersville DDA board and staff are already working on ideas and improvements for next year’s event; I welcome any feedback you have on how to improve the Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival in the future.
Thank you again for being part, and hope to see you at a future event!

Thanks to you and the other members of Old Mill Road Band for a wonderful evening of entertainment. Our guests enjoyed the music, and they also enjoyed meeting and chatting with you all over dinner. We had a great time and look forward to seeing and hearing you again soon!
Here are a few pictures for you.
All the best,
Debbie and Vince Collier
Been going to the Bluegrass Express for the last 3 months (escaping the snow back home in Canada). Your show last night is hand's down the best show during that time - gorgeous and talented fiddle player, great pickin by the guys, great singing, great humor, entertaining, professional. And teachers too - the kids must be entertained as well as educated.
Just wanted to let each of you know (and Ronnie) know how much we enjoyed having the Old Mill Road band perform for Gene's 70th birthday party.
Everyone was really talking about how much fun it was listening to the band on a perfect day with our families and friends.
Gene was actually blown away about the SURPRISE. He and everyone else loved the entertainment that went along with the picking and singing. You guys are really GREAT!
Thanks a million for all the hard work the band put into making this a memorable birthday!
Love you ALL!
